Nina Potts
Nina Potts is a poet, writer, and speaker. Originally from Maryland, the young artist grew up in the foster care system using poetry as a way of escape. The years brought unimaginable trials in her path, and against all odds, she grew stronger in her faith and in her confidence. In time, her skill and passion for writing and speaking has grown into a finely crafted art form that resonates from deep within.
Backed by years of experience as a poet and speaker, she is now stepping out with her debut spoken word single, Olive Trees. This powerful poem was born out of her husband’s battle with stage four brain cancer. As she speaks, she gathers strength from God, and delivers it in a way that is both beautiful and heart-wrenching. Her poem comes to life with a graceful acoustic accompaniment, bringing a final product that is sure to touch the hearts of all who listen.
This is only the start for Nina. Her goal is bring wisdom, light and hope to all who have faced life’s many trials, and to glorify the only reason she is still here today, God.
She currently resides in Lehigh Valley, PA.
